The ISO 15926 Real-time Interoperability Network Grid

iRINGTools is an open source, Semantic Web, .NET and Java implementation of the full specification of ISO 15926.

iRINGTools Enables the Future Now

Vision

iRINGTools enables the capital projects and facilities industry to surmount the barriers to information interoperability by using ISO 15926 to define reference data and exchange lifecycle information, on demand, through network-based services. iRINGTools provides an open source reference platform for ISO 15926 technology, proving the capabilities and lowering the barriers to access it, reducing cost and risk for all participants.

The full capabilities of ISO 15926 in a web-based world

The iRINGTools is a technology suite supporting web-based ISO 15926 deployment. It includes components facilitating access to the full capabilities of the ISO 15926 stack, from classification at the dictionary level (part 4), all the way up through "templates" (part 7) for modeling relationships and dealing with lifecycle data, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) style "facades" for data exchange (part 9). It also provides components for authoring reference data for the RDS/WIP (the web-accessible reference data library for ISO 15926) and mapping legacy data to ISO 15926.
